Description

Gold Rush with a more exciting finish. Climb Gold Rush to the horizontal finger traverse on the right, just below the finishing roof. Traverse right (crux) and establish yourself for the 5.10 finish of Alchemy. A great linkup.

Protection

A few pieces BD 0.3-0.75 in addition to what you take on Gold Rush. Runners to reduce rope drag.

The guidebook calls this one of the toughest 5.10s on the Main Wall. I found it to be less challenging than U1 and Landing a Monster. YMMV.
