Description Suggest change

There are numerous lines on the cliffs in the grade 4 & 5 range. These are good options if the weather or time of day prohibits doing full length routes.

Location Suggest change

The ice cliffs tower over Chimney Pond on the flanks of Katahdin's Pamola Peak. Head up the talus to the base of the ice. Be careful of avalanche danger if the talus is covered with snow.

Protection Suggest change

Ice screws, V threads to descend
