Description Suggest change

The crux depends on what shape it is in. It is usually near the bottom and a mental crux at that. This is a great moderate ice route that rarely forms all of the way in. It is lots of fun and not much stress is invoved. It is easier than it looks and offers good gear placements.

Location Suggest change

Same as for the Pajarito Gorge proper but travel to the west for about 100 yards, and down to the shelf where the gully is located. Rap in and climb out.

Protection Suggest change

Stoppers, small cams, stub ice screws, and a few runners to a tree with supplemental gear for the belay.
