Pads on Planes

I was unsure if i should put this in the bouldering section or not. I noticed that there was only one post there; so I put it in the general climbing section in hopes of getting a faster response. |

I've done it for years. If you are taking two, duck tape them together so you can claim them as one piece. Some airlines will put them in a large clear plastic bag for you so the straps don't get caught. You might have to sign a release form saying that if they get trashed it's not their fault. |

has anyone ever tried to take a crash pad to molokai? |

For the record, it’s probably cheaper to rent a pad from the local gym than pay the extra airline fees. |
