Access issues at the Lower Malamute. MORE INFO >>>
Much of the Lower Malamute falls into CN Rail's right-of-way. More accurately, the starts of many of the climbs fall into this region. See this link for more details: www.access-society.ca/regions/squamish/areas/lower-malamute Also, see Kevin McLane's 2006 edition of his Squamish Guidbook to see a image of what is and isn't accessible.
This information is a public crowdsourcing effort between the Access Fund,
and Mountain Project. You should confirm closures, restrictions, and/or related dates.

Description A nice friction face climb on the northernmost wall of upper Malamute. A cruxy start off the ledge leads to easier climbing above.
Location Hike around the north side of the Malamute to a small but secure ledge. A belay bolt near the dike marks the start of Sparky and Pacing the Cage. This dike is almost certainly the same giant intrusion that splits the face of the chief-- pretty cool.
Protection Bolts.
