Guidebook Release Party and Fund-Raiser for Kevin Rauch

What: A celebration and release of limited edition guidebooks for the Ozone climbing crag to help raise money for Kevin Rauch and his family.
Where: The Lucky Lab Beer Hall, 1945 NW Quimby Street, Portland.

Ozone is an 800-foot-long wall of beautiful basalt in the Columbia River Gorge that's been developed into a premier climbing area. One of the most influential developers of the crag, Kevin Rauch, was diagnosed with ALS in 2007. This guidebook, assembled by other Ozone developers and friends of Kevin's, and this event are all about raising funds and pooling support for Kevin and his family. Don't miss it!

What at great event. The guide books start at $25. Remember....it is a fund raiser, so you can pay as much as you can afford. See you all there.

I saw the book yesterday.....it looks great. Hope to see everyone at the event.

I've seen parts of the book too: cool photos, topos, etc... Should be sweet when it's all finished. The silent auction donations are mounting too. Check out the web site www.ozoneguide.blogspot.com for a partial list of some of the companies who've donated so far. (There's pictures and other info there as well!)

Only 29 more day until the event. Should be fun. Great climbing pictures on the blog. Check it out.

Just saw a newer draft of the book and it is coming along super nicely. It's going to be a fantastic guide.
