I headed home to the Kenai and Girdwood for the first time in years, and am wondering where to climb around there. Will be up for a few weeks, and would love any input, ideas, partners etc. I hear there's mostly choss, but I'd be psyched for easy alpine and bouldering. I wasn't a climber when I lived there, so am a bit clueless. :) Thanks!

in gwood you should go to tram rock. for good quality hard sport climbing chikaloon is the place to be for sure. partners, try the ak rock gym on the week days most weekends a group from there goes to chikaloon.
