Other Zones - Reno Boulders

In the greater Northwest region of the Washoe Valley there are indeed a few clusters of boulders here and there that are worth exploring.

Rock quality is changeable from boulder to boulder and can go from the tightest polished granite to chossy sand on the same hillside.

There are two areas that could be considered "other zones" but still be included in the Reno Boulders section.

The Primordial Soup Boulder - A sand stone structure to the North.

Verdi Boulders - Fine Granite stones similar to Bliss in Tahoe.
