Description

Old Trucker Favorites is a variation (5.9-5.10) to the Retable Route (5.7) to the left of the Gill Problem on the Inner Outlet. Start up the obvious wide crack to the left of the Gill problem. Working the right side of the face using the crack for protection and a few hand jams.

Location

when facing the Retable Route (5.7) obvious crack on the lower part of Inner Outlet on the Southwest side. To the left of the Gill Problem if you know where to find this. Also the standard downclimb from the Gill problem.

Protection

standard rack. (2) 3.5s camalots help.

I always thought that this was more like 5.8 or 8+

The V1 in the old guide books stands for variation I believe, not the bouldering rating. I do think this route is tricky and not a 5.8 route to be underestimated. But it isn't really any harder than 5.8, in my opinion.
