Description Suggest change

Oryx are the beautiful wild Elk-like powerful wild animals with the unique long ribbed black colored antlers found throughout Namibia, a country 3 times larger than Germany with less than 3 million inhabitants.

Approach the base of the route by just approaching the obvious steeper dike features.

Pitch #1: Start up the obvious ribbed and very steep initial dike section protected by two welcome bolts (1/2" or 12mm x 3.5") to an overhang. After the overhang, it is a fun cruise trending right on fun dike moves to a two-bolt belay.
Rappel the route with one 70m rope.

Location Suggest change

Just to the right of the Campsite #13 site, and to the right (south) of an odd huge dike with a balanced boulder perched at the beginning of it, look for a bolted dike slab with a steep start.

Protection Suggest change

Either 1/2" x 3.5" Hilti HMC bolts or 12mm x 4" Hilti Stud bolts were installed.
Rappel the route from the two-bolt belay.
