Dylan leading Snakes and Ladders at Hatta Crag.

Description

One of the easiest countries to travel around in the Middle East and North Africa. Safe and friendly. There is more rock than you can imagine (almost all limestone). The mid-winter climate is perfect.

Getting There

For the main "proper" Oman region, fly into Muscat, or fly to Dubai and drive into Oman (may be cheaper and more flexible).

For North-West Oman and Musandam, fly into Dubai and drive.

Cowboy Up! 5.11b  International : Asia : ... : Cowboy Corner
This is one awesome climb with nice technical/sequential, balancey and bouldery moves on very smooth rock.Use a clip stick or a spotter while going for the first bolt.Start with you right hand in the smooth pocket that you can reach and your left foot on the tiny sooth ledge. Lay back on the right hand as you pop up and rock over to the left to grab yet another smooth side-pull pocket with the left hand and work you way to a comfortable lay-back position to clip the first bolt.Smooth moves on sm...[more]   Browse More Classics in International
