John Bryan isn't great but it's climbing. Stopped in there to stretch our legs too and from "The New". Easy set ups with the big eye bolts that are at the top of each route ( if you have a rack or webbing maybe back it up,there is only one bolt per route ). Stop at the visitors center and grab a map even if they are closed you can get one. If I remember correctly all the route are on the same trail. All the bolts are painted so they are not that had to find. If you have time just drive to "The New" and get your fix there. Cheers and happy climbing Capt. Impatient

Rock Climbing Photo: Flakes of Wrath
Whoa! Jackpot. I am leaving to go to Wright Pat AFB for a month on Sunday. I just assumed there was no rock whatsoever, this is right around the corner from me. Crappy rock is still rock when its all youve got. Love to meet up with a climber from the area during my time there and check it out! Paul-B

Anybody interested in bouldering in Athens Monday? I'm in from Colorado and will go crazy if I don't get out to climb, but it's a little hard to bring a crash pad on a plane! Kayleigh Mill
