Description Suggest change

Climb the vertical crack starting from within the crevice behind the Triple Cracks buttress. Starts out as a hand crack and soon becomes off-width. The crack narrows again on the lower angle rock above the off-width section. The wide part feels hard for the grade. After topping out and bringing up the second, scramble up 3rd/4th class to Smorgasbord, and either walk off or descend the crevice down to Orange Peel area.

Location Suggest change

Located about half way up the 3rd class crevice which runs behind the Triple Cracks buttress from Orange Peel to Smorgasbord. If traveling up the crevice from Orange Peel, Obscured by Clouds will be on your left.

Protection Suggest change

A standard rack up to about a number 4 will protect the crack. However, you will need some extra big pieces and/or creative anchor building skills to rig a top anchor. There are no bolts or top anchors on this climb.
