Description Suggest change

So close to the parking makes access too easy, meaning lots of traffic (climbing). The routes here are of all difficulties (5.5-5.11a) and qualities.

The rock is limestone typical of the Northern Limestone Alps, and has more of a river rock quality to it than the alpine stone.

Make a day trip out of it by visiting Schloss Linderhof, just a short drive from the climbing.

Getting There Suggest change

Go North out of Garmisch or south out of Munich on the E533 (A 95 [blue signs]) Get off at Oberau on the B23/Ettaler Strasse toward Ettal.
