Wheaties Boulder

Add Photo  Add Comment    Printer View

Description

Stand start, carefully making your way onto the slippery slab. Climb to the top using underlclings.

Location

Past the parking lot, just past the narrowest part of the notch on your way to stowe. There is a place to park to the left of this boulder, but if you are going to work on problems here, you might not want to park your car there.

Protection

A few pads. This one is pretty tall.

This boulder was called " Eddie + George in 1976 as it had those names sprayed across it in 1 foot high letters. The baggy knees had a benefit party to remove the graffiti from the notch boulders sometime in the early 80's and it lost its name slowly as us older boulderers have not past on the beta. This is a classic in my mind and a great warmup problem pre crash pads ( flat landing)
