Not competing in the Rock Rodeo

I am sure it is crazy with tons of people but is it still likely to get in a lot of bouldering if you aren't competing?
We are bad at bouldering and get lost easily.

You have to be a registered competitor to enter the park on the day of the Rodeo.

There were still Thursday North Mtn spots available as of a few days ago.
