BETA PHOTO: topo of North West route

This route starts out with a stem between the actual pinnacle and a shorter rock just to the west (to your right if you are facing Windy Point Vista/Tucson). This route has an old bolt at the top of the pinnacle that should not be used for anything other than a directional. The chains for this climb (that do not easily allow a top-rope) are located to the left of this climb and are shared with the 5.7 North Side route). Thin feet in places. Also, don't let the height to the 1st bolt bother you, it is easily reached.

I used a .5 and 2.5 Friend on this route. # of bolts tends to vary with the seasons...

The old bolt seems to have been replaced. I only remember one at the start.
