Description

Northwest Face - ledges. Mountaineer's Route.

Beware of avalanche danger!

Location

Approach exactly like you're headed for the NW Face.
When you are spitting distance to the base of Birds of Fire, hang a hard right. Follow the right-rising ledge to the west shoulder of the peak.

Protection

2 pickets maybe & 1/3 rock rack.
