I'm going to be hiking Mt Whitney in a couple of weeks and camping at the Whitney Portal. I've heard there is some good bouldering to be done around the portal, but because I'm getting excited I have to ask -

Where exactly are the boulders? Are they everywhere? Are they obvious, like in the campground, or at the base of some of the climbs? Any info about bouldering in the area would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
