So far i was thinkin Squamish Tahoe Tuolumne Valley Vegas Creek back to vegas..
where else would be a good pit stop for climbing...Where else can i climb? has anyone else driven this way before...what roads would you advise?

| check out owen's river gorge. and if you feel like it, tahquitz and suicide domes just east of JTree. Then go to JTree. just my reccomendation. there is plenty to do b/w the valley and red rocks.
also bishop has a lot of bouldering (buttermilks) if that is your thing. i was going to do this route as part of my cross country trip this summer but had to get surgery instead. can barely type now. good climbing to you. | FLAG |

| Dont forget "Index" right next to Rainier in Washington. That place is great. You could hit bishop, (that area has, owens, buttermilks, Tuolumne ) Pick up "The good, the great and the Awesome" guide book by Peter Croft to the Eastern Sierras. You wont be disappointed. If you dont like crowds, skip the Valley and check this stuff out, and hit the Valley as well. Im more partial to Alpine Rockclimbing w/o the mosh-pits. Bishop is an easy 5 hour drive to Vegas from there. Just to let you know Vegas (redrocks) is not really climbable from now till October. Its Damn Hot there. However Sport climbing at Mount Charleston 20 mins north of Vegas is Game On during the summer. Jtree is going to be hot too. | FLAG |

| I dunno, there's a lot of mountains between AK and Squamish, might be worth taking a few days to explore some random areas in the coast ranges. | FLAG |
