Description
Counties Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Londonderry and Tyrone comprise the Country of Northern Ireland. This area, arguably, hosts some of the best bouldering and trad climbing on the isle of Ireland. The northern tip has the world class Fairhead and tucked away in the county of Fermanagh are some spectacular boulders and trad lines on perfect Irish Grit.
There are climbing gym's located in Belfast and Dublin for guidebooks and more information.
In the South of The Province, in County Down, lie The Mountains of Mourne. An outstanding collection of granite hills with 26 crags and nearly 1000 routes, they offer both single and multi-pitch trad climbing in an often solitary setting.
