New to Moscow, Idaho and not having much luck securing partners to climb outside with. Would love to get out this weekend to Post Falls, Deep Creek or somewhere else in northern Idaho / eastern Washington.
I'm mainly a sport climber but would love to follow somebody up some trad climbs. Basically I need to climb this weekend and will crawl backwards up a choosy granite slab in a remote wilderness surrounded by militia doomsday preppers if I have to.
I sport lead to what some people in some places call .11d and will follow on anything. I have a rope, draws and set of ridiculous cowbells I bought at the Black Diamond gear swap that I hope I will never have to use.
I've never climbed in Idaho, but could go for a trip outside of Utah. I've only led a couple of 10a sport routes. Can lead 5.6/5.7 trad at this point since I haven't been getting out on trad much this year. Have almost a double rack and 60m rope. I'd be coming from the Salt Lake area. Earliest I could leave would be Friday after work around 5pm.
