Near the northern limit of the Canadian North Cascades, The Anderson River Peaks are sometimes compared to the Cirque of Unclimbables. Yak and Steinbok peaks may have the biggest and blankest granite walls of the entire Cascade Mountain Range.

Stoyoma Mountain (7,486ft, 2,282m) is the highest mountain at the northern extreme of the Canadian Cascades. (Cascade Alpine Guide 3., by Fred Beckey, 1995)

Yak Pk has a good Mountain Project page listed under Fraser Valley: Yak Peak
