Description Suggest change

Note: This description is for the historical record only. All information contained within is likely outdated and inaccurate. Many, if not all, bolts have been removed from the Twin Sisters formations and climbing on them is illegal. Do not attempt to climb these routes for your own safety and compliance with the law!

North Twin Sister is the taller of the two siblings and is also host to far more climbing - including many long, lost City classics. Easy scrambling routes breach its slabby southern aspect; harder, single pitch climbs depart from a ramp along the east by southeastern flank; and longer, more adventurous routes weave up through interesting features and ominous roof systems on the eastern and northeastern side.

Sadly this formation has been closed to climbing for some time now.

I suspect that some anchors have been chopped, others have become dangerously outdated, and that descent from the top is problematic.

Getting There Suggest change

Park near the Sisters campsites and find a vague trail that has fallen into disuse that leads up towards the southeastern toe of the formation. From here scramble along the base of the wall in the direction of your chosen climb.
