Description 

Routes on of any quality on the North Side are concentrated in the Red Bird Statue Area. Occassional outliers exist both east and west of this area, but are sporadic at best. Generally it is not worth the hassle of slogging through the woods to find them. However if you're in the mood for slogging you might be rewarded with a good route or two.

Getting There 

Follow the Main Road up the Bluff from the North Entrance and take a left at the "T" instersection atop the bluff. Park in either the first parking lot on your left or the parking lot for the observation tower.

The 5.8 crack is located on the north-facing cliff about 200 yards to the west of the Redbird statue. This route was originally described as a "classic 5.8". It is the leftmost route on a steep section of fair-quality rock.Pull up through the obvious crack system to the roof.
