From the Sir Sanford Glacier, ascend 2,000 feet up Palmer Glacier to the rounded rock buttress that is less threatened than other nearby opitons. Hard to leave the glacier, then climb 1,000 feet of serious 5.8X featuring bad gear and ball bearings of marble.
