Is Norman Clyde peak via Twilight Pillar a good Car to Car climb?

Depends who is asking. Are you ok with the approach stats, number of pitches, rating and the descent? Ok with it being a 13er? If so, go for it.
Personally, I think it is a great c2c climb for someone who is fit and ok with above average dayhikes in the Sierra. Have fun!

Sounds like a huge day. I think even the Class 3 east face climb up Middle Pal would be an enormous day, C2C, but I suppose a super fit person could pull it off.

Going with either a Middle Pal car to car Saturday or staying at Finger Lake that night and doing Twilight Pillar on Sunday. Either way I'll post pics. Wish me luck.

My first Fourteener! Middle Pal. Actually it was my first anything. All of my out of doors experience has been crag based for over 20 years. I may be hooked, though I may focus on car to car stuff for a bit that 40lbs pack is no joke when you're a soft as I am. No pics worth posting but it was a fabulous day in the High Sierra! The hike out was smoky though.

So you did it as an overnight? Congratulations.

Any sketchy parts on that "Class 3" route?

The bergschrund is crazy scary (prevents the 3rd class start) I very nearly fell in. Without an axe I would probably still be there. And the alternate start has a bouldery move in the middle of it. Probable 5.nothing but the holds are super solid and clean. Also I took the route to the left as a down climb for most of the descent...super chossy, stay on the route as it is so clean and the climbing is better. And yes it was an overnight.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
