DescriptionThe name is misleading. Think of it more like 50 mile canyon. The history of this area is amazing. Filled with Native American Artifacts, this is a fascinating area to bring a family. Unfortunately, the real good stuff, archeology speaking... is still off limits to the general public. But this region is filled with rock and rock art... all the way to the Green River. This region is on the edge of suspicion for many activities. Not the least of which is the "Interplanetary Airfield." Get off the main canyon road if you dare... Getting ThereThere are a few ways of getting here. But the most common, and easiest is to turn north off of Highway 6 in the town of Wellington.

This climb starts out as a pile of choss. It pretty much continues that way throughout, with a few nice pieces of stone mixed in.Start on the southern shoulder. Climb dangerous rock up the face past one bolt to better rock. Continue towards a small tree on a ledge, then diagonal back left past another bolt to a ledge that divides the west face and the southern face.
