I found a Nikon coolpix in one of the streams in the cirque of the towers, it was underwater so I imagine it's damaged but the memory cards still work, let me know if you lost one.

Hey, I found a memory card underwater in Estes Park. After it dried, it worked. I got the card back to someone in Oklahoma. Once dry, try it out. You may be able to figure out from clues as to whom it belongs.
On a different but related note, I did find this wet memory card in RMNP...and it belongs to some Japanese tourist. I've tried to figure out how to find its owner without success. Tried embassies, RMNP office, Japanese friends, friend of friends who are Japanese.... Any other thoughts?

If the card has pictures of earlier trips on it, you can try feeding some of those into TinEye or Google's Search By Image in case they've been posted online somewhere. (Many people don't bother to empty out their memory cards until they have to.)
