Hey there,
I am looking to replace my last pair of 5.10 UFOs that just blew out. I love how this shoe fit and looking for something as close to it as possible, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

so the UFO when t first came out was truly a one of a kind shoe. first "down-turned", first split tongue, first velcro slipper, etc. the second version carried on these traits as well. both versions sported C4 stealth rubber...maybe the second version had HF, cant recall.

i would say the closest shoe in the five ten family to the UFO would be the "hiangle". both are down-turned aggressive sport and bouldering shoes. hiangle has unlined leather uppers and much rubber where you need it for toe hooking/scumming. Both used C4 rubber. harder than many other rubbers used on downturned models, and subsequently more durable. think a great a balance of precision for edging and sensitivity for feel and "grabbing" and "pasting" features.

the hiangle is $150 and with the longer wearing rubber a great value in the world of high performance slippers. powerful, glove-like fit, and full of features for techy foot maneuvers.

5.10 hiangle killin it on steep granite.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
