Description

Named in honor of the restaurant in the town of El Rito.

p1: climbs a vertical crack (to the right of Juniper Direct) past a small pine at 40 m to a 2-bolt anchor at the right end of Juniper Ledge. Full 50 m pitch.

p2: choose an upper pitch from Juniper Direct (5.6), Chile Verde (5.6), or Bring Me a Bucket (5.9). (You can also do a 2-rope rap from the bolted anchors at the top of p1.)

Location

The start is at the bottom of a downed log, to the right of Juniper Direct and to the left of Chile Verde. For the descent, climb up and left for ~3 minutes from the top of p2 and look for cairns marking the good descent trail that comes down the backside.

Protection

trad rack of stoppers and cams to 3", 6-8 double length runners.
