In the summer of 2006, a movie production company came to Las Conchas to destroy the marshy meadow nearest the road at Las Conchas by plowing a fake road through the meadow and placing a fake pond, complete with fake waterfall, in the middle of the meadow in support of the filming of the lamely humorous Wild Hogs movie. The production crew and actors likely didn't notice the rock climbing potential on the wall just above their fake pond but someone else did. Thus, the south-facing Wild Hogs Wall was born! As of the summer of 2008, only one route exists on this wall but determined FAs can probably find some other one-star route potential elsewhere on the wall.
Getting There
This is the 40 foot wall up and behind the location where the fake pond in the movie Wild Hogs was located. Look for the obvious scarred meadow with the feeble attempts at re-vegetation and identify the wall behind (northeast) of the atrocity to locate the Wild Hogs Wall.
