| Ooh, music thread! Fun! This probably goes in the community forum, but whatever. Most of this is not new, and would certainly not be considered "hot," but a lot of people don't realize that they really like this kind of music until someone actually gets them to give it a listen. I've got some industrial, some death metal, some classic metal, some black metal, some interesting hybrids, a really heavy band with a serious jazz influence, and some other goodies below. Enjoy! Vader Behemoth Vesania Decapitated Meshuggah Also Meshuggah, but very different Deicide Gorgoroth Sisters of Mercy I don't care if it's old. A lot of people haven't heard them even though a lot of modern bands credit them as a major influence. Nevermore (first album) Nevermore eight years later. Nevermore still seven years later. Warrel Dane (vocalist of Nevermore) on a solo album giving props to Sisters of Mercy. Jeff Loomis (guitarist of Nevermore) solo album. Hypocrisy More Hypocrisy just because "A Taste of Extreme Divinity" was the most awesome album I've bought in like 3 years. Lamb of God never fails to deliver. Marduk just put out a great album last year. Marduk from their excellent album "Plague Angel." Arch Enemy if you're into melodic death metal. Check out Deathstars if you like the sound of Rammstein. Ministry has been doing this for over 30 years, and put out a great album last year. Al Jourgensen has, without question, the greatest stage presence I've ever seen. I'd even put it over Trent Reznor's. Otep writes some amazing lyrics, and her music ranges from straight up in your face metal, to nearly rap, to all kinds of things. Psyclon Nine if you're into industrial that almost moves into techno territory. Mortiis who's solo efforts sound very different than Emporer of which he was a founding member. Funeral Mist Cradle of Filth has put out lots of great albums, and every one sounds completely different than any of their previous work. Wow. I've been at this for 45 minutes. Time to post and walk away. Hope someone found something they want to explore further. | FLAG |

| Oh man, how could I have left that out? Probably because that was the highlight of the movie and I was terribly disappointed with the next 87 minutes of Frylock and gang's misadventures. | FLAG |
