Hi,
My girlfriend and I just moved to Durham from california. Rumor has it that climbing in this state is quite good, but we don't know anyone. So, I guess we are looking to find climbers to show us around and drink beer with. She just started at Duke law and is quite busy, but I am unemployed for now and can go more or less any time. Trad, Aid, Sport whatever. Drop me a pm if you want to help a brother out.
Victor

p.s. We are experienced.
Yosemite resume includes Nose, Leaning Tower, New Dimensions, among other things

Hey man!!
For one I'm not a jerk. I'm a wilderness instructor and live in Asheville. I'm not to sure where you want to go. I live about an hour and 45 minutes from Linville Gorge.

I've been climbing for about 4 years now. I used to be a climbing instructor for two years with a gym in Minnesota. I've done some single pitch guiding as well, so for the most part I feel pretty confident about systems.

I must say that right now I'm a little under where I want to be at. I climb around 5.7 on trad lead fairly constantly. I would love to be consistently climbing 5.8 by the end of the fall. I'm very open to following on hard trad and looking for good people to improve with. Let me know what you're into doing.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
