Need inspiration/non-climbing things around Boulder

A recent climbing accident left me with 8 screws in my hand, and 4 months of rehab until its usable, I also have a torn MCL. Unfortunately, I also have 6 weeks of vacation, which was intended for Red Rocks and some other fun trips. I need ideas of what to do in the front range area that doesn't need hands, and is not incredibly demanding for the lower extremity either... only thing I came up with is hiking.

Sooo... Looking for sweet day hike, perhaps 1-2 day adventures that are pretty sweet around the front range, maybe any where in Colorado, or even Utah. Haven't done a ton of hiking around here besides approaches for climbs. And inspiration to get my fat ass off the couch and quit whining about injuries.

Sorry, I know this is a climbing forum, but there is no hikingproject.com... yet

Might want to try 14ers.com/

Countless great hikes around.
I like this book "Best Summit Hikes in Colorado: An Opinionated Guide to 50+ Ascents of Classic and Little-Known Peaks from 8,144 to 14,433 feet" although I have an older edition.
I think the Boulder Library has it if you want to check it out.

Do some Hot Springs tours. Indian Hot Springs in Idaho Springs is the closest, but very commercial and could be crowded.

For a 2-3 day trip, Mt Princeton Hot Springs:

Alternate between the hot pools and the ice cold river for very therapeutic hydrotherapy that can speed healing.

A little further in the San Luis Valley is Joyful Journey Hot Springs:

The San Luis Valley has been used by the Indians as a healing destination for a long time and still is. A friend who used to live at Crestone said that a visiting Indian Elder told him that "You white men are crazy to live here. The healing energy is too strong to stay much longer than short visits." Indians called the San Luis Valley the 'Bloodless Valley', because tribes that normally were at strife with each other would visit in peace.

Also, explore the Great Sand Dunes nearby.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
