September 26 (Saturday) is National Trails Day, and JeffCo Open Space has chosen a climbing access project-- at the Tiers of Zion -- as one of two trail projects for the day. This will be the third project day of this season at the Tiers, and we have made great progress on stabilizing the belay areas and access trail for this new crag. Come help us finish it!

For now, PM me directly to sign up for a spot. JeffCo may have a sign-up website available later-- if so, I'll post the link here.

This is a great chance to improve a local crag BEFORE it gets trashed and needs a bunch of remediation of eroded trails and washed out base areas. You get free lunch, an invitation to the end-of-season party for volunteers, and maybe even cool prizes (working on that)-- not to mention good climbing karma for a year. :)

Details:
When: Saturday, September 26, 8am - 3pm
Where: meet at the JeffCo Open Space offices (700 Jefferson County Parkway, Golden) -- we will take a van shuttle to the Tiers of Zion parking area
What to Bring: water, sunscreen, hat, work clothes, snacks
What you Get: tools, training, work gloves, lunch, eternal gratitude

Thanks

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
