Description Suggest change

Nakalele Point or the Blowhole is a broad shelf sitting atop the seacliffs, sixty feet above the raging waves of the Auau Channel on the north shore. Near the bottom of the ravine boulders appear on the left and right along the high tidal basin atop the seacliffs surrounding the Blowhole.

Getting There Suggest change

Drive Hwy 30 to mile marker #38. A long paved parking area is on the left (north) side of the highway. A vendor selling coconut candy has a stand at the east end. The vendor, Julia's Banana Bread has habituated the resident Mongoose to respond to treats for the tourists.

Follow the hardpacked dirt path toward the ocean. Continue down the rocky ravine toward the blowhole. Near the bottom of the ravine boulders appear on either side.
