Description 

This is the alpine paradise of Japan. The Japanese alps lie here and are remarkable. This prefecture includes some very amazing alpine routes, crags, and bouldering areas. If you visit Japan and seek climbing, Nagano is a must.

Getting There 

From Tokyo by train take the Shinkansen, this takes about 2 hrs.

Driving take the Kan-estu xpressway to the Joshin-estu expressway. This drive is about 3.5 hrs. Of course this will greatly depend on traffic. Driving on Sundays in Japan is very tricky, FYI.
