Description Suggest change

This feature is visible from the highway, back high and right up on the rim of the canyon. Awesome little tower with three routes of varying difficulty. One on the north side and two are on the south. Base camp is on the south side and is sunny, warm, and spacious like the beach. The summit has a stellar view. No crowds here, please close the gate behind you.

Getting There Suggest change

Drive east off the highway as far as is possible. Continue on foot up the road until about even with the talus toe that is down and right of the tower. Cut across to it and head up zig-zagging up brushy ledges. Once on top, head left (east) to the tower. 20 to 30 minute approach.
