Hey all,

Anybody have the beta on skiing the Crystal Chute on Mount Sopris in the Roaring Fork Valley? Wondering about the egress after the skiing. Is it possible to come out down to hwy 133 or do you need to trek back around the north flank and work back to the standard hiking route? Also is it possible to take sleds further than Dinkle lake? Average time to obtain summit? Thanks in advance for any information!

check out wildsnow. Lou is among the most informed guys in the valley and will have all the current access and route condition info you should need. if you're not able to search out your questions on his site, shoot him an email. he usually responds pretty quickly. it's been enough years that i don't have any useful current info....

Thanks Scott, been combing through wildsnow but it's mostly trip reports without much route finding information. I think I'll take your advice and email Lou.
