Description Suggest change

North facing walls, ranging from 30 to 90 feet in height. The walls get only partial shade in the summer, more shade during the winter months.

This area sees less traffic due to the approach, especially the upper sections.

Getting There Suggest change

Take bus 6 or a taxi (around $45) from Admiralty to the Hong Kong Tennis Center on Wong Nai Chung Gap Road. Cross the street to a WWII bunker. Follow a set of stairs left of the bunker. Continue rightward on a dirt path, following a concrete drainage, then another path. Turn left up a drainage, marked by cairns. Further uphill are handlines to the left and right. Left side goes to the Lower Wall, right side goes to Main Wall. Straight ahead of you is the Shoot Gully. From the bunker, it is 0.9 kilometers and about 600' of elevation gain to the Shoot Gully junction.

Main Wall trail follows a steep set of hand lines on a rough trail. When th trail levels out, you will pass a set of rap anchors, which marks the top of the Shoot Gully. A fixed line to the right take you to the Upper Right wall. Cross the Shoot Gully and keep heading left to reach the main wall.

Approach time is roughly twenty minutes of easy hiking to the Shoot Gully. For the upper walls, plan on another 20-30 minutes of uphill hiking.
