If you saw the article in Climbing Oct 2014 or went to the slideshow in Castle Rock you'll probably think we're crazy, but a couple of us from Colorado are planning to attempt Mt Logan (Yukon) in May 2015, preferably by the E ridge if conditions are good. We're looking for a third person to join us after one of our team dropped out.

We're looking for someone who's comfortable on skis and confident on mildly technical snow & ice (up to 60 degrees or so). Experience on glaciers and at altitude would be useful. Travel costs from Denver would be roughly $2.5k to $3k. We're planning on a four-week trip, but if the weather co-operates we hope to be home sooner.

Bitter cold, constant danger, and minimal honor and recognition in case of success.Send me a PM if interested.

Here's MP's very brief route description: mountainproject.com/v/east-….

Hell yea!! Get some!!

I am working on a Trip Report now and have plenty more photos to share.
For the record, I think you are crazy to climb that route twice :)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
