We are looking for some advice on Mt. Lemmon for next week. We've never been there and are hoping to stop for a day or 2 between Cochise and Sedona. We are looking for some sunny areas that have more concentrated sport climbs from 5.10-5.12. I looked around on the area descriptions but would love some recommendations. Thanks!

Milagrosa is low and good but the meat of the climbing is in the shade. You need a 70 + day to be comfortable there, especially if the wind is blowing a bit.

The Ruins, Sun Spots and Forgotten wall are better choices for climbing in the sun. Both areas are on Mtn Project.

The weather next week is supposed to back up in the low 70s. If it is that warm, Windy Point would be good, as you can chase sun/shade as need be. There are a lot of great 11s and 12s, and some pretty good 10s. Milagrosa is great as well.

If the weather is still a touch chilly, Jimbo's suggestions are all fun areas.

I was at windy point a week or so ago on a 70 degree day and it was chilly for me but not un-climable by any stretch. Next week says it's going to be warmer than 70 so you may be fine up there.

I would also assume Sun Spot Craigs has "sun" but having never been there I can't say nor can I comment on the climbing so maybe somebody else can chime in.

Halfway would be more like Phoenix. Plenty of options in that area just search on here.

Sun Spots Is a good option with a number of quality routes in the grade range you mentioned. If it's 70's you'll definitely be good heading up to the windy point area as well.
