mt. Donguz-Orun is a giant peak with a dozen of classic alpine and rock climbing routs classified from 2A to 5A (Russian classification). For experienced climbers the most interesting is the North face of the mountain with the «7 Glacier».

Getting There Suggest change

Around 40 minutes hike up the valley and the small Baksan river from the Cheget glade. The mountain is well observed from the Cheget glade and it is imoppible to not to notice it
