Description

Layback and stem for 15 feet up a dihedral. Exit the dihedral, escaping left and then up onto a ledge above. Move left and then climb an easy ramp up to a steep headwall. Thin edging leads up vertical rock past the crux.

Location

The route starts in a 15-foot tall, right-facing dihedral that is located 40 feet left and 20 feet up from the start of Elephant in the Room.

Protection

Seven bolts (all 1/2" Rawls). 2-Bolt rappel anchor.

Beware of bees on this route. Be sure to check out the route topo to see the location of a small nest.

We saw this from the road and climbed it - didn't have time to do anything else in this area. Easy climbing up to the last two bolts and then gets much harder. The rock was good but a little dusty. With more ascents, this area would be super fun. VERY well protected the WHOLE way. Bolts were in great condition.
