Moving to Chattanooga: Roommates? Partners?

I know someone else had a similar thread a month or so ago, but mine seems to be of a different nature. I recently took a teaching job in the senior high of a small private school in the area and will be moving there mid-July. I'm young and single on a teacher's salary with student loans so I'll go out on a limb and ask if anyone wants or needs a roommate for the fall.

I'm a climber (mostly interested in trad stuff now), so we may share similar interests: sandstone, gear, and beer.

I'm a teacher (government, economics, and history), so I know some stuff about some things and can carry on a conversation.

I'm an introvert (INTJ), so it's actually super cool if you don't want to talk about things.

I'm clean and quiet (but not obsessive compulsive about it), so I'm pretty easy to live with.

And I'm an adult, so I'm over loud and rowdy week nights and need a quiet place to write lesson plans at night.

If all or any of that sounds something your speed and you're looking for a roommate or know someone who is, let's talk! If it isn't, that's fine; I sound kind of like a crotchety old man in that description.

Also, if you're an "Old Guard"-type trad climber and would like to take a young gun under your wing for a trad partner in the area, that is exactly what I'm looking for.

Hi Chet,
My spare room is occupied until September, but feel free to PM me when you get in town if you need a climbing partner. I climb mostly sport, but can belay, follow & clean.
Welcome to Chatt!

Cheers,
Sharyl (INFJ)

I can endorse Chet.
Nice guy.
Smart.
We climbed together a few weeks ago and he struggled not once.

Sorry for any lack of response; I've been climbing out west for the last five weeks and only checked MP on my phone (usually while super lost). I have landed a place to stay in Chattanooga, thanks for the replies and the welcome!

Ben, thanks for the kind words. I'm back in the Southeast if ever you want to climb.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
