Introduction Suggest change

The second-highest peak of the Chilliwack Range (Spickard is slightly higher), almost 1,000 feet higher than either Slesse Mountain or American Border Peak. A worthy almost-9,000-footer, steep, glaciated, and hard to get to. The easiest route is the southeast side, but the shortest approach is from the north. The Northeast Face is an excellent glacier and mixed climb but has suffered badly from recession and can be impassible due to crevasses for much of the summer and fall.

Approaches Suggest change

The map shows the Canadian way in red. Two American approaches, within North Cascades National Park, are shown in orange. Both use Hannegan Pass to begin.
