Details
For 2022: per Daniel Bryant: they did extend the order, but what I found was that the closed area does not encompass any of the common climbing areas within Elevenmile Canyon.
Seasonal Closures in effect January 1-July 31st, 2016-2021.

Description
Mt. Meridith is a large, diamond-shaped crag with a very distinct dihedral splitting the face. It's at the top of the E. rim of the canyon when viewed from the spillway campground. Most of the routes are pretty easy, but the view and lack of crowds make it worthwhile. A great place to bring beginners, since there are plenty of places to place gear and lots of comfortable ledges. Lots of potential for easy/moderate ascents.
