Description Suggest change

One of the most striking mountains on the way to the bow valley may be Lougheed. It even has a signpost as you pass it on the left side, showing it's might next to The Windtower and, in the distance, Mt Sparrowhawk.

There are two known rock routes and a good scramble. Lots of information on the scrambles are available and there is potential for exploration of this wall and the area (I was told there may be a 1000 lines possible in this cirque, of varying quality, of course).

Getting There Suggest change

Take the Smith Dorrien Trail until you get to the pull off for the West Wind Pass. Walk the wind pass to the south side of the windtower.

Take the right fork in the T intersection before the tree line to go towards the windtower. This will start you off on the 5.5 traverse.

For the warrior approach, see the warrior beta.
