Enjoying 'Ground Affects'.
A number of routes I've attempted recently, such as Jailbreak and Critic's Choice, have had nearly every hold ticked. To whomever is doing this please be considerate to your fellow climbers and limit tick marks to just a few holds and remove them when no longer needed. Not a huge issue by any means but it would be appreciated.

I personally tick holds as part of projecting a route but try to limit myself to the minimum (subjective) and recognize that self-discovery is an important part of climbing for many people.

Leave a slew of fake tick marks around the original offending marks? ;-) MJW

Hmmmm, wasn't me! When I project I use a chalk blower (I invented it, picture leaf blower with a 5 gallon bucket of chalk strapped to it). I walk up to the clime, fire it up and dust the entire rock face with chalk so that I can save time (and weight) while projecting at my limit (5.8ish). So essentially my "ticks" are the absence of chalk.

PS I clicked on this thinking I was going to get an update on some outbreak of blood sucking bugs on the mountain, happy to see it was just about a post about unsolicited beta.
